Good products can remain invisible when information is fragmented. A producer may know the full story behind a crop or a craft, while a buyer sees only a name and a price. AfriTrace’s purpose is to make that story easier to discover, understand and assess.
We organise the relationship between people, organisations, places and products. Evidence should explain who made a claim, what it covers and when it applies. Information that is incomplete or unverified must remain distinguishable from confirmed evidence.
Producers, enterprises and communities across Africa are at the heart of the initiative. Buyers, mentors, researchers, developers and funding partners may participate from anywhere. Your selected market describes the context you want to explore, not your nationality.
Goblis Foundation is the nonprofit company behind AfriTrace Link. Afrisol Technologies manages the project’s development and technical operations. The public website introduces the approach and supports market discovery; wider services will be introduced as their readiness is established.
